currently reading: The High 5 Habit
I don’t read as much as I would like to… yet.
Reading teaches us so much. It opens our minds to new ideas, words, and concepts. I finally settled on reading another book I think is onto something.
When my partner recommended another Mel Robbins book, I couldn’t bring myself to read only the intro and toss it like I did with the other 10 books I said I would read.
So, I started reading this one before I went to bed last night, and I can honestly say it’s been great.
Usually every morning, I go into the bathroom to do my business while scrolling on social media on my phone. But THIS morning, I brought my book in and read a couple pages instead. And spoiler alert, I also gave myself a high five on the mirror. ;) Also have the book currently sitting on my desk next to my fingers as I type this post.
I’m writing all of this down as a little commitment statement. I want to finish this book because it already has me interested from the first couple of pages, which is kinda rare in my book reading history.
Once I finish this book and get a chance to implement the techniques for about a couple weeks or so, I may or may not come back with a book review, but since I’m already writing about it, I think I will!
